On Thursday, the AmFAR Gala returned to Cannes. Held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Rocin in conjunction with the Cannes Film Festival, the high-profile event beckons stars from around the world to raise money to support the organization’s dedication to AIDS research.
Featuring a glittering program with performances from Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin, and Charli XCX. Robert De Niro was honored during the sold-out black-tie event and Carine Roitfeld curated the evening’s fashion show. With some of the world’s top models strutting in the annual fashion show in styles from the most renowned Maisons; Alaia, Burberry, Dior, Fendi, Givenchy, Gucci, Giambattista Valli, Jacquemus, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta, and more. Since 1985, amfAR has invested close to $617 million in Aids research, giving out more than 3,500 grants to research teams around the world.
