During his first year at the helm of Beyond the Pines, Mat Abad has pioneered a renowned aesthetic that establishes the 3-month-old publication. His collections combine a uniquely provocative, art forward sensibility with a distinctly global, female exploration. The resulting pieces of work are smoldering while remaining elevated and inspiring.
On Saturday morning, Madison, Jordyn, Asalia, Courtney, Valentina, Natalia, and Sierra arrived to St. Lucia for the unveiling of Vol. 1 Print. The soiree was held in Soufriere while the muses villa was in Pittons Bay where they got ready. They wore slinky, silky, sheer, mesh, draped dresses, and natural glam. As the sun began to set, they made their way down to the beach, where the magazines were displayed, the live band played, and a table was set for dinner. Badboi himself was there, of course, along with his team. The meal was catered by local chefs. After dinner, it was time for the unveiling: Vol. 1. The collector’s item was printed on recycled fine art paper with recycled fine art ink packed in a corn-based biodegradable plastic. The dazzling guests danced and celebrated. The festivities also toasted to the art that was created between muse and Badboi. The release party was, very Beyond the Pines.
