Midnight Studios Presents “And Love Said No” for SS23

For the Spring/Summer 2023 collection, Midnight Studios by Shane Gonzales presents “And Love Said No,” a collection in collaboration with iconic goth rock band, H.I.M. As a brand with roots in music and youth culture, Midnight Studios’ new collection pays homage to rock n’ roll’s evocation of emotion, blending romance and heartbreak with hard-hitting heavy metal melodies.

Spring/Summer 2023 sees the continuation of Midnight Studios’ tailoring codes with suiting that features jackets with Pagoda shoulders complimented by exaggerated, wide leg trousers. Classic Doc Marten boots are seen paired with oversized ponchos and lounge pants in heavyweight knit. A matching calfskin leather trucker jacket and trouser set covered in a layer of delicate tulle, represents the romance of lyrics that transcend into the dark, melancholic sounds of metal synonymous with H.I.M.’s music.
